DigitalGlue and Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) select coralbay.tv to Automate Next-Generation Playout for 10 Channels

Cloud-native coralPlay system streamlines complex workflows with seamless MAM and traffic integration.

Leeds, UK, 10th March, 2026 – Cloud and IP playout specialist coralbay.tv Ltd announced today that DigitalGlue, in collaboration with Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), has selected coralbay.tv to automate the playout of 10 channels. The deployment has successfully launched its first channel, with the remaining nine scheduled to go live shortly.

DigitalGlue chose coralPlay after evaluating competing products on the market. “We were impressed with the architecture of coralPlay and its modern, user-friendly GUI”, said Sean Busby, President of DigitalGlue “It has the core features we required and the company was willing to add extra functionality to meet our exact needs.”

coralPlay is a next-generation, cloud native playout product designed using microservices, containerized using Docker, and orchestrated via Kubernetes. While optimized to leverage the inherent elasticity, redundancy, and flexibility of cloud hosting, DigitalGlue opted to host the system in TBN’s data center, utilizing a mix of SDI and transport stream I/O.

The deployment features a fault-tolerant cluster architecture that hosts the core automation, database, MAM, and workflow, supported by main and backup pipelines for audio and video processing. To ensure fast turnaround for near-live scenarios—an essential part of TBN’s workflow—the system includes a secondary record function that allows operators to review, segment, and play media while the recording is still in progress.

Key workflow integrations and features include:

  • Seamless Database Sync: Ingests schedules from TBN’s Broadview traffic system and interfaces with TBN’s IPV Curator MAM, eliminating the need to re-enter media metadata.
  • Comprehensive Toolset: Provides full automation, media player capabilities, HTML graphics, live event handling, DVE, soft transitions, captions, and SCTE insertion/detection.
  • Reliable Delivery: Integrates with Zixi for the secure ingest and delivery of transport streams.
  • Graphics Flexibility: Supports HTML graphics templates created in Adobe Animate, Loopic, Singular.Live, or VIZ Flowics.

Peter Hajittofi, CEO of coralbay.tv adds “We are delighted to have been selected for this pivotal project. DigitalGlue is a leading, innovative systems and services company in the USA, and we look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with them and with TBN as we help modernize their broadcast operations.”
