coralbay.tv to showcase many new features at NAB 2026

LEEDS, UK (April 8th, 2026) — Cloud-native playout specialist coralbay.tv Ltd today announced its lineup for the upcoming NAB 2026 show in Las Vegas. The company will demonstrate significant advancements to its coralPlay video pipeline, focusing on high-density efficiency and premium visual standards.

Premium Visuals: UHD HDR 10/12-bit Support expanding its support for SD, HD, and UHD SDR, coralbay.tv now offers comprehensive UHD HDR 10 and 12-bit playout. This allows broadcasters to deliver elite-tier, high-dynamic-range content with the cost-efficiency of a cloud-native architecture.

Maximum Density: Enhanced GPU Utilization To drastically reduce CPU overhead, coralbay.tv has optimized its pipeline for GPU-accelerated instances. Key updates include:

  • HEVC (GPU) Codec Support: Significantly lowering per-channel costs on cloud instances.
  • GPU-Assisted HTML5 Rendering: To provide smooth graphics for complex and more dynamic on-screen presentations.
  • High-Density Encoding: Leveraging GPUs for secondary records, transport stream video, and low-latency WebRTC previews, maximizing channel density per instance.

Operational Agility: coralbay.tv is introducing Junction Preview, a critical time-saving feature for master control. Operators can now select a playlist block and preview only the transitions (junctions). The system automatically plays a configurable duration of the start and end of each event—including secondary events—to verify seamless playback without reviewing entire segments.

In addition, the company has enhanced its monitoring capabilities for Live events and Channels. The real-time, configurable video pipeline allows switchers, multi-viewers and various outputs, such as WebRTC (for ultra-low latency live monitoring) to be combined to create dynamic preview outputs. The UI now supports switching what is routed to outputs and multi-viewers from within the Channel UI. This allows operators to see exactly what’s happening within the pipeline and to see upcoming live feeds while still retaining full control and visibility of the channel Schedule.

Next-Gen Graphics: Loopic & EBU OGraf Integration Demonstrating its commitment to open standards, coralbay.tv will debut an integration with Loopic graphics. This workflow supports the new EBU OGraf specification for broadcast HTML graphics. At NAB, visitors can see seamless end-to-end control of HTML5 templates, including double-box DVEs controlled directly from the HTML layer.
