coralbay.tv to showcase many new features at IBC 2026

 

LEEDS, UK, 8th September, 2026 — Cloud-native playout specialist coralbay.tv Ltd today announced recent enhancements to its core products that will be demonstrated at the upcoming IBC 2026 show at the RAI Centre Amsterdam.

 

These include:

  • Highly configurable User Interface (UI). The UI now enables users to customize the screen layouts to suit their operational needs. Windows can be sized and positioned anywhere on the screen enabling users to display the information that is important to them at the topmost level without having to go through menus to access it. They can now view multiple playlists in both grid and timeline views and set up monitor by exception alerts for errors, such as missing media.

  • Support for Arm/AARCH64 computer technology. Arm processors are built on industry leading architecture that provides efficient but robust computing performance whist at the same time reducing energy usage. As well as helping our customers meet carbon emission targets, there is the added benefit of significant cost savings, for both on-premises and cloud deployments.
  • Integration with AJA Kona IP25 card for ST 2110 I/O. Coralbay.tv is pleased to announce that it selected AJA as the backbone technology for its SMPTE ST 2110 solutions. Both recording and playout functions are supported. The company is now able to offer ST2110, SDI, SRT, Zixi and MPEG-2 TS I/IO.
  • Junction preview. This new feature allows users to select a block in a playlist and preview only the junctions rather than the entire section. The system automatically plays the first few seconds and last few seconds of the marked block, including any secondary events in those periods, and displays the output on a preview screen. The durations played at the start and end of each event are configurable to suit customer preferences. Full block preview remains available for those who prefer it.

Premium Visuals: UHD HDR 10/12-bit Support Expanding its support for SD, HD, and UHD SDR, coralbay.tv now offers comprehensive UHD HDR 10 and 12-bit playout. This allows broadcasters to deliver elite-tier, high-dynamic-range content with the cost-efficiency of a cloud-native architecture.

 

Maximum Density: Enhanced GPU Utilization To drastically reduce CPU overhead, coralbay.tv has optimized its pipeline for GPU-accelerated instances. Key updates include:

 

  • HEVC (GPU) Codec Support: Significantly lowering per-channel costs on cloud instances.
  • GPU-Assisted HTML5 Rendering: To provide smooth graphics for complex and more dynamic on-screen presentations.
  • High-Density Encoding: Leveraging GPUs for secondary records, transport stream video, and low-latency WebRTC previews, maximizing channel density per instance.
