coralbay.tv integrates NewTek NDI® into coralPlay for low-latency IP monitoring

Leeds, UK, Sept 6th, 2018 – Cloud playout and workflow specialist, coralbay.tv Ltd., announced today that it has added low latency video preview and monitoring to its next-generation coralPlay playout products by integrating NewTek NDI® technology.

“The incorporation of NewTek’s NDI in coralPlay demonstrates our commitment to providing solutions that can be used for live events such as news and sports where operators require instant feedback in order to make operational decisions. coralbay.tv has integrated NDI into coralPlay to be recognizable as a source by other NDI-enabled applications and devices connected to a standard Ethernet local area network.

NewTek’s royalty-free NDI technology allows video and audio sources to be shared bi-directionally across a network without the need for expensive cable runs and infrastructure upgrades while turning every source into a destination instantly available anywhere on the network. The number of applications/devices incorporating NDI has increased rapidly making it an attractive option to broadcasters and vendors alike.
