coralbay.tv announces enhanced graphic options and other features at IBC 2025
Leeds, UK, 2nd September 2025 – Cloud playout specialist coralbay.tv Ltd announced today that the company has added a number of new features to its products and looks forward to demonstrating them at the upcoming IBC show.
New features include:
- Integration with Loopic graphics. Coralbay.tv has enhanced its graphics capabilities by adding integration with Loopic graphics so that customers have even greater choice when selecting the graphics creation tools for the preparation for HTML5 templates. This integration supports the new EBU OGraf specification for #broadcast HTML graphics having successfully integrated with the Loopic authoring tool.
This allows for seamless, end-to-end workflows for creating and controlling broadcast graphics. We will be demonstrating this, including double box DVEs controlled directly from HTML at the upcoming IBC show. - Integration with VIZ channel branding. For customers who prefer to run their playout on premises and require a best of breed solution, coralbay.tv has developed an driver for VIZrt’s channel branding products. Customers are now able to create high end 3D graphics using the popular VIZ channel branding products and play them out via the coralPlay playlist. The driver supports the call up of templates and data from the on air playlists can be used to populate the template fields as the schedule plays out. This feature can be used for now /next /later promotions.
- Integration with VIZ flowics graphics. VIZ flowics provides cloud based HTML5 graphics for the cloud. Via the VIZ flowics API, coralPlay can select graphics templates and render them in real-time. It is also possible to populate templates via information derived from the on-air playlists or via external feeds such as RSS. Adding support for VIZ flowics graphics means that our customers can choose between Adobe Animate, Google Web Designer, Loopic, Singular.Live, SPX and VIZ flowics.

- Improved manual control of DVEs and graphics. It is now possible to manually control graphics and DVEs via an improved UI, making it even easier to control these features when in a live event.
- Improvements to Regional opt outs. It is now possible to set up channels to be network originators or network contributors. Network originators are master lists and are able to trigger network contributors to insert local programming (eg commercials). Network contributors normally switch to a live source when not playing locally contents so they pass through the main feed. When they receive a trigger from the network originator they play their local commercials and then switch back to the network feed.
Other recent enhancements that will be demonstrated at IBC for the first time include many features to support near live scenarios, such as:
- Manual record panels. To enable users to record live events at any time, it is now possible to select a live source and to immediately start a crash record using a record panel. The recording will continue until the operator terminates the recording manually or until the duration specified in the panel before commencement of the recording has been reached. The record panels also allow for a confidence playback to be configured from a spare pipeline so that the recording is played back a few seconds after the recording commences. The amount of lag from the commencement of the recording is configurable.
- Utilization of a video pipeline to review media. As well as streaming media over the network to review high resolution media, users are now also able to allocate video pipelines to review media via the coralPlay preview tool. Operators can start to review media just a few seconds after the recording has commenced and can mark the IN/OUT points and segments whilst the recording is in progress.

- Play while record. It is now possible to schedule events that have not yet been recorded and for playback to commence a few seconds after the recording has started. Recordings can be initiated either by using a manual record panel or via a secondary record event in another playlist. During recordings the coralPlay preview tool can be used to review media and to mark up segments. Once the in and out points and segments are identified, this data is saved into the database and the SOMs and Durations in the playlists are automatically updated.
The company will be exhibiting on stand no. 7.A09e
