coralbay.tv announces the release of coralFlow, a powerful new workflow engine
Leeds, UK, 19th February 2019 – Cloud playout and workflow specialist, coralbay.tv Ltd., announces the release of its new workflow engine, coralFlow.
coralFlow is a microservices-based software engine that can be hosted in public clouds, on virtual machines in data centres, or on servers in a facility. It works alongside coralPlay, coralbay.tv’s next generation playout system, and coralMAM, a media asset management system which provides a media database and essential media management functions. coralFlow’s powerful, user-configurable workflow engine enables tasks to be set up to perform a variety of functions, such as content discovery, quality checking, low-resolution proxy generation, automated media moves and pre-rendering of graphics elements according to the needs of the on-air playlists.
Peter Hajittofi, CEO of coralbay.tv comments “coralFlow is versatile software that enables us to perform all sorts of functions to meet the specific needs of individual customers. As with all of our software, coralFlow is built using Docker containers and standard orchestration and monitoring software, meaning that it can be hosted anywhere. We will continue to build additional workers into our product so that our customers can benefit further from this powerful new engine. ”
